CHI SAILING :::: PACKING LIST

Please do not bring a suitcase or hard cover piece of luggage. The storage space on a yacht is limited. Only use duffle bags, back packs and sea sacks that can be collapsed.

Money:
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard) are accepted almost everywhere. Bring smaller amounts of cash and exchange at your destination, as it’s usually cheaper.

ID:
Valid passport
If available, sailing certificate and radio certificate
Emergency ID, blood type certificate

Personal stuff:
Sun glasses, suntan lotion with high SPF (NO OIL BASED LOTIONS)
Sailing outfit (for possible bad weather)
Extra glasses or contact lenses
Baseball hat or sun hat, casual and comfortable clothes, rubber sandals, (generally no shoes are worn on board.)

These are just some tips. Of couse you can bring whatever you want and feel comfortable with.

CHI SAILING :::: THE FINE PRINT

General Terms of Agreement:

1) If a trip has to be canceled beforehand, you will be immediately notified and your deposit will be refunded. Additional claims cannot be made.

2) If you decide to end your trip early you have no claim for refund of services and time not consumed.

3) Weather conditions or problems with the boat or equipment might force the skipper to change the route, wait for improvements, or complete repairs. Under these circumstances claims cannot be made if the final destination is not reached on time.

4) For insurance purposes you are participating in a sports event and not contracting transportation. You are not a passenger, you are a crew member.

5) You must agree to comply with all orders given by the captain, regarding the boat, safety regulations and the equipment on board. You must also agree to complete the tasks given to you as a crew member.

6) Participation on a sailing trip and land trips are at your own risk. You are personally responsible for complying with passport, immunization and customs regulations of each country.

7) We are not responsible for damage, theft or loss of your property. We strongly suggest the purchase of a travel insurance for your trip.
